Requirements & Eligibility

Crowned Scholars is designed for middle school-aged Black male students, ranging from 10-15 years old. Incoming 6th or 7th graders are eligible to apply for our program. Once selected as a Scholar, each student will be retained in Crowned Scholars through their 6th, 7th, and 8th grade academic years.

Scholar Program Applications will open online each Summer, with final selections being made before classes commence in the Fall.

While Crowned Scholars is uniquely designed for the betterment of young black men, we do not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, or sexual orientation in any of its activities or operations.
